Acai Smoothie

Cooking Time: 5-10 mins

Yield: 1 serving

Ingredients:

½  cup of almond milk, 
1 tsp of Acai powder,
70g of frozen banana slices

Optional:

1 tsp of chia seed and/or ½ tsp flax seed oil
70g of ice cubes

Method:

Blend all ingredients (plus opt. ingredients as you wish) together in a high-speed power blender for 30 seconds, or until creamy. Then serve immediately for best flavor and consistency.

Remark

Acai and Maqui powder are interchangeable when used for the recipe.

 

Nice Cream Dessert

Cooking Time: 10-15 mins

Yield: 1 serving

Ingredients:

1 ½ of frozen banana slices, (200g)
(or 1 of frozen banana + 100g of ice cubes)
1/4 cup of almond milk, 
1 tsp of Acai powder, 
1 tsp of honey

Optional

Add to the Nice Cream:
2 tbsp of yogurt 
1 tbsp of hemp seeds /or 1 tbsp of whey protein powder

Toppings:

Fresh berries/ fruits, nuts, granola etc.

Method:

  1. Add all the ingredients together in a high-speed power blender for 1-2 minutes or until the mixture is completely smooth. (Stop the blender from time to time to scrape down the sides if needed.) Taste or adjust the flavor as needed.
  2. Scoop into a bowl and top with fresh fruit, nuts, seeds and granola. Serve immediately for best flavor and consistency.

Remark

Acai and Maqui powder are interchangeable when used for the recipe.

 

Acai-Chia Pudding

Cooking Time: 6-8 hours

Yield: 1 serving

Ingredients:

2 tbsp of chia seeds, 
1 tsp of Acai powder, 
100 ml of almond milk, 
1-2 tsp of honey, 
1/8 tsp of vanilla extract

Optional

Fresh fruits, nuts/ seeds and granola.

Method:

  1. Pour dry ingredients into a glass jar first, then follow with wet ingredients and mix well. Let settle for 2 minutes then mix/ stir again very well until there is no clumping.
  2. Cover the jar with a lid and store in the fridge overnight or for about 6-8 hours.
  3. Before serving it cold, top with favorite fruits, or other toppings of choices.

Camu Camu Smoothie

Cooking Time: 5-10 mins

Yield: 1 serving

Ingredients:

1/2 cup of almond milk, 
1 tsp of camu-camu powder, 
70 g of frozen banana slices, 
1/3 cup of orange juice /or 100g of fresh carrot

Optional:

1 tsp of honey 
70g of ice cubes

Method:

Blend all ingredients (plus opt. ingredients as you wish) together in a high-speed power blender for 30 seconds, or until creamy. Then serve immediately for best flavor and consistency.

 

Camu Camu Infused Water

Cooking Time: 15 mins or 2 hrs.

Yield: 1 serving

Ingredients:

1 cup (250ml) of filtered water, 
1-inch chunk of  fresh ginger root, 
1-2 tsp of honey, 
1 tsp of camu-camu

Optional:

1 wedge of lemon
few leaves of fresh mint

Hot Method:

  1. Prepare the fresh ginger by cutting 1-inch chunk of fresh ginger (no need to peel), sliced into pieces no wider than ¼-inch
  2. Add the ginger slices in a cup, pour hot water into the cup. Let the ginger steep for 5 mins. (10 mins for stronger ginger flavor)
  3. Add honey to taste and adjust as needed. 
  4. Before serving, dissolve camu camu powder in the infused water and add a wedge of lemon or few leaves of mint for more aromatic.

Cold method:

  1. Prepare ginger like in the Hot Method
  2. Add the ginger slices in a glass bottle, pour in the room temperature water in the bottle, add fresh lemon wedge, mint and camu camu powder. Mix/ stir all ingredients well, before covering the bottle with a lid.
  3. Store the bottle in a fridge overnight or at least 2 hours (but no longer than 24 hrs).
  4. Take out the bottle from the fridge and discard the ginger, lemon and mint. Add honey to taste and adjust as needed, before serving in a glass. 

Tip:

To always add camu camu to food after cooking to prevent the loss of nutrients from the heat, especially vitamin C (21).

 

Camu Camu Drinks (Camunade)

Cooking Time: 5-10 mins

Yield: 1 serving

Ingredients:

1 cup of filtered water or kombucha
1 tsp of camu-camu, 
1 tbsp of lemon juice, 
1-2 tsp of honey
1/8 tsp of salt

Method:

  1. Blend all the ingredients together in a blender or mix in a jug with a mixer stick.
  2. Serve straight away or chill it in the fridge and enjoy when you’re ready!

Tip:

To always add camu camu to food after cooking to prevent the loss of nutrients from the heat, especially vitamin C (21).

Maca-Choco Yogurt

Maqui Smoothie

Probiotic Maqui-Orange Drinks

Cooking Time: 10 mins

Yield: 1 serving

Ingredients:

100 ml of filtered water, 
1 tsp or Maqui powder, 
2 tbsp (30ml) of apple cider vinegar, 
1/4 cup of orange juice

Optional

70g of ice cubes
1 wedge fresh lemon, 
5 leaves of fresh mint

Method:

  1. Put yogurt of choice in a bowl, mix in the Maqui powder, stir with a spoon until dissolved. Add honey and vanilla extract. Mix all well, then transfer in a serving tall glass.
  2. Start layering in the tall glass (about 350-450ml), after the first bottom-up layer of Maqui yogurt, layer over by the white plain yogurt as the second, follow by the third of Acai-Chia pudding, after that the granola on the fourth, then top with fresh fruits of your choices (with purple/ or red color).
  3. Serve cold.

Maqui Yogurt Parfait

Cooking Time: 20-25 mins

Yield: 1 serving

Ingredients:

1 cup of plain yogurt, 
1 tsp of Maqui powder, 
2 tsp of honey
1/8 tsp of vanilla extract

Topping

2-3 tbsp of plain yogurt, 
2-3 tbsp of Acai-Chia pudding, (Click our recipe)
2-3 tbsp of granola, 
100g of fresh blueberries/ strawberries, fruits

Method:

  1. Put yogurt of choice in a bowl, mix in the Maqui powder, stir with a spoon until dissolved. Add honey and vanilla extract. Mix all well, then transfer in a serving tall glass.
  2. Start layering in the tall glass (about 350-450ml), after the first bottom-up layer of Maqui yogurt, layer over by the white plain yogurt as the second, follow by the third of Acai-Chia pudding, after that the granola on the fourth, then top with fresh fruits of your choices (with purple/ or red color).
  3. Serve cold.

Amla Smoothie

Cooking Time: 5-10 mins

Yield: 1 serving

 

Ingredients:

1/2 cup of almond milk, 
1/4 tsp of amla powder, 
70g of frozen banana, 

Optional:

1/4 cup of frozen pineapple 
2 tbsp yogurt /or coconut cream/milk, 
100g of ice cubes

Method:

Blend all ingredients (plus opt. Ingredients as you wish) together in a high-speed power blender for 30 seconds, or until creamy. Then serve immediately for best flavor and consistency.

Warning:

Amla should not be paired with milk from cows because excessive vitamin c in it mixed with mlk leads to digestive upset.

 

Amla Water

Cooking Time: 10 mins

Yield: 1 serving

Ingredients:

1/4 tsp of amla powder,
1/2 cup of water

Optional:

1 tsp of honey 
1/4 tsp of ginger powder
a pinch of salt

Method:

Mix the Amla powder in a glass of room temperature water and strain the mixture for the more smooth taste (but simply fine to leave amla in the water). Drink the Amla water right away, or stir in honey, ginger powder and a pinch of salt to taste. 

Good for: improving your digestive processes, and helping you get glowing skin. Best to have this recipe in the morning on an empty stomach.

Warning

Always consume amla with water, not water after/ or before taking amla, it can upset your digestion or lead to diarrhea.

 

Amla Orangina

Cooking Time: 50 hrs.

Yield: 1 serving

 

Ingredients:

1 ¼  cups of fresh orange juice,
1/4 tsp of water kefir grains (culture starter)
⅛ tsp of sea salt
1/2 cup of filtered water
1/4 tsp of amla powder

Method:

  1. Pour the orange juice into a glass mason jar. Add the water kefir grains  and a pinch of salt to taste. 
  2. Fill the jar up with room temperature water, then mix in amla power. Cover with the lid and give a quick shake. 
  3. Leave it at room temperature for 48 hours. Then move to store in a fridge for a few hours. Serve cold with ice cubes for refreshing.

Warming:

Amla is not good for those who often have a low blood sugar level or are on anti-diabetic medications. If you have a bleeding disorder, use amla with caution. It is also not recommended during or after undergoing surgery, because it might slow blood clotting.

Ashwagandha Smoothie

Cooking Time: 5-10 mins

Yield: 1 serving

Ingredients:

1/2 cup of almond milk, 
1/4 tsp of ashwagandha powder 
70g of frozen banana

Optional:

1/2 tsp of ghee, 
1 tbsp of honey
70g of ice cubes

Method:

Blend all ingredients (plus opt. Ingredients as you wish) together in a high-speed power blender for 30 seconds, or until creamy. Then serve immediately for best flavor and consistency.

Tip:

Ayurvedic practitioners recommend combining Ashwagandha with cooling herbs; licorice, or foods; ghee, raw sugar, milk, rice, sweet beverages, smoothies and other desserts; ice cream, yogurt, etc. can mask the slightly bitter and earthy taste well.

 

Moonmilk

Cooking Time: 15 mins

Yield: 1-2 servings

Ingredients:

1 cup of nut milk, 
1/4 tsp of ashwagandha, 
1/2 tsp of turmeric powder, 
1/8 tsp of cinnamon powder 
1/2 tsp honey

Optional:

a pinch of cayenne,
1/2 tbsp coconut oil

Method:

  1. Use a small pot, add the milk, ashwagandha, turmeric, cinnamon and honey (as well as the optional ingredients as needed), heat the pot while stirring occasionally. Bring the milk to boil. 
  2. Turn off the heat and pour the moonmilk into a cup. 
  3. Drink the warm milk just right before your bedtime to help relax your mind.

Ashwagandha has tremendous benefits toward women as it improves vitality, strength, and energy as well as helps balance hormones, reduce stress and anxiety, and promote overall health and well-being.

 

Ashwagandha Milk Tea

Cooking Time: 20 mins

Yield: 1 servings

Ingredients:

1/2 cup of filtered water
1/4 tsp of Ashwagandha powder (1 grams)
1/4 cup of nut milk
1/2 tsp of honey

Optional:

1 tsp of coconut oil
1/8 tsp of cardamom powder

Method:

  1. Over a stove, in a small pot, bring the water to a boil.  Then add Ashwagandha powder.
  2. After adding the powder, cover the pot with a lid, and immediately turn off the flame.
  3. Let the tea steep for 10 to 15 minutes.
  4. After steeping the tea, mix in the milk and honey (and optional ingredients if needed). Serve hot.

Warning:

It’s best to avoid ashwagandha if you are on an immunosuppressant drug since it boosts immune function and could potentially reduce the effectiveness of the drug.

Moringa Smoothie

Cooking Time: 5-10 mins

Yield: 1 servings

Ingredients:

1/2 cup of almond milk, 
1/4 tsp of moringa, 
70g of frozen banana

Optional:

1/4 cup of frozen avocado, 
1 tbsp of yogurt

Method:

Blend all ingredients (plus opt. Ingredients as you wish) together in a high-speed power blender for 30 seconds, or until creamy. Then serve immediately for best flavor and consistency.

Tip:

It’s best to consume first thing in the morning, preferably during breakfast.

 

Creamy Moringa Latte

Cooking Time: 15-20 mins

Yield: 1 servings

Ingredients:

1/2 tsp moringa powder 
1/2 tsp of honey
1 cup of nut milk (or light coconut milk)

Optional:

1/4 tsp maca powder
70g of ice cubes

Method:

  1. Add moringa powder, milk, and honey (and any optional add-ins) to a saucepan on the stovetop over medium heat and whisk to combine and froth (to retain the most nutrients, be sure not to boil the mixture) 
  2. Transfer the moringa mixture to a serving mug and top with your heated / frothed milk.

Or Iced Moringa Latte

By adding all ingredients to a jar with some ice and shaking well to combine.

Remark:

Moringa does not dissolve in water, you will have to keep stirring the drink as you consume it to keep the Moringa from settling.

Tip:

It’s best to consume first thing in the morning, preferably during breakfast.

 

Moringa Tea (Hot /or Cold)

Cooking Time: 20 mins

Yield: 1 servings

Ingredients:

1 cup of filtered water, 
1/2 tsp of Moringa powder, 
½ tsp of honey

Optional:

70g of ice cubes
1 wedge of fresh lemon

Method:

  1. Over a stove, in a small pot, bring the water to a boil. Then add Moringa powder.
  2. After adding the powder, cover the pot with a lid, and immediately turn off the flame.
  3. Let the tea steep for 10 to 15 minutes, before straining the Moringa or not.
  4. After steeping the tea, mix in the honey. Serve hot.

Cold Method:

Simply add the ice cubes and a wedge of lime, in the hot tea method, after the hot tea cools off first.

Tip:

It’s best to consume first thing in the morning, preferably during breakfast.

Triphala Smoothie

Cooking Time: 5-10 mins

Yield: 1 servings

Ingredients:

1/2 cup of almond milk, 
1/4 tsp of triphala, 
70g of frozen banana, 
1 tsp of honey

Optional

1 tbsp of almond butter, 
1 tbsp of vanilla egg white protein

Method:

Blend all ingredients (plus opt. Ingredients as you wish) together in a high-speed power blender for 30 seconds, or until creamy. Then serve immediately for best flavor and consistency.

Warning:

It is best to not take Triphala after meals, and never more than once a day

 

Triphala Tea (Hot)

Cooking Time: 5 mins

Yield: 1 servings

Ingredients:

1/2 tsp of triphala powder, 
1 cup of filtered water (hot /or warm)

Optional

1/2 tsp of honey

Method 1:

Add the triphala powder to a cup of hot water (together with honey if needed). Stir to mix well and then allow the drink to cool down a little before drinking it.

Method 2:

Steep triphala powder in a cup of warm water, leave it overnight and add honey before you drink it first thing in the morning

Best time consumption:

at bedtime to promote peaceful sleep and work its way up to weight loss. But, some people experience the need to urinate often at night, as triphala is diuretic in nature. So, you can also have triphala tea early in the morning for good immunity and weight loss instead.

 

Moonmilk Triphala

Cooking Time: 5 mins

Yield: 1 servings

Ingredients:

1 cup of almonds milk 
1 tsp of honey or 1 small medjool dates (seedless)
1/2 tsp Triphala Powder
1/8 tsp ground nutmeg 
a pinch of salt

Optional

1/4 tsp vanilla extract
1/4 tsp ground cinnamon

Method 1:

  1. Place all the ingredients in a high-speed blender and blend well until smooth and creamy. 
  2. Heat up the milk in a small pot over a stovetop or other means. Turn off the heat before it boils. 
  3. Transfer to a serving cup and sprinkle with a dash of ground cinnamon to serve.

Note:

Triphala is a powerful detoxifier. It helps to flush out toxins from the  stomach, small intestine and large intestine.
